It has come to our attention that the Operator Certification Office is mailing letters advising operators of their current status of Continuing Education Hours.  The current recertification period ends on December 31, 2007.  Apparently some of the letters to operators contain incorrect information.  If your letter indicates that you still have hours to obtain, and you know for a fact this is incorrect, you should call the Operator Certification Office at 225-342-7512 (Stacey Williams) or 225-342-7508 (Jill Ruffin).  They can check your records and confirm your status.

We are pleased to announce a newly scheduled 32-Hour Certification Review for classes I, II, III, and IV (water and wastewater) to be held in Lake Charles from 16-19 July 07. There will be an open exam available to students on July 20th in Alexandria, LA. A 40-hour course and continuing education credit will also be available to those who pre-register.
